Your Personal Wellness Recipe

You will know when you are working with your personal wellness recipe when you feel fully engaged.  You may even lose track of time, and feel a sense of bliss that only one-pointed attention can bring.  This is taking meditation off the cushion and into your moment-to-moment existence.

What do tap dancing, yoga, and valentines have in common?   Right now, these seemingly random items are a big part of my personal wellness recipe. What is your personal wellness recipe?

Cookie cutter cleanses and ‘new year, new you’ programs may not be working for you because they are not personally tailored for you.  Mindfulness requires that  you get to know yourself really well.  By knowing yourself intimately, you will begin to recognize what it is you need in your life to experience peak well being.  It’s also important to remember that your wellness recipe can change from season to season and year to year  Right now my  peak well being recipe includes teaching and attending yoga classes at least three times a week, taking a tap class at the Cambridge Adult Education Center (fun!), and making valentines with my kids, with the help of some pre-packaged projects from Paper Source (I’m obsessed with Paper Source at the moment and receiving no kick-back to say so).
