Gratitude Challenge – Day Twenty-one: Napping

I used to to think it was a sign of weakness, something only the old and sick did.  Now, I see it as a sign of strength, a counter culture activity in which I take care of my biological need for rest.

Today I am grateful for naps.  Those short, mid-day breaks for self-care and restoration that allow me to better enjoy the second half of my day, and walk the earth with more patience.

We wish you twenty minutes of mindfulness every day!
