Gratitude Challenge – Day three – Some days are easy

Some days, it’s easy to feel grateful.  Today I had the honor of fixing my baby’s hair for the prom – and I read her acceptance letter to Green Mountain College – the one with the full ride – at least three times.  But stay tuned…. mindfulness teaches us that life is change, and I’m sure there will be a day in the not-too-distant future, even with all my good fortune, that my happiness set-point and the hedonic treadmill will trick me into thinking I’m miserable.  But for now, I will savor this day,  the fact the sun came out for the first time in a week in time for the prom photo shoot, and that the full “super moon” is rising.
